Galaxian -------> Multicade Conversion

NoteThis is one of the original Galaxian Control Panels. These are fairly unique , using a lever control instead of a joystick.
These were saved as part of this conversion/restoration . They were not altered .
Instead NEW control panels were purchased , sold to allow for pacman conversion of galaxian cocktails.
I designed new art and changed the layout to suite the 48 in 1 multicade game.
It will be possible in the future to restore this game to original if so desired since the original panels and factory supply and wiring have been retained and were not used for the conversion.
Instead a new harness was installed.
The only alteration needed was the removal of some plywood under the control panels to allow for operation of the joysticks. Since the original panels had only levers there was very limited clearance under the panels. I traced the area under the joystickand carefully routed and carved the surface of the plywood to match and allow the necessary clearance for them to operate.These metal panels were purchased, normally used for conversion of galaxian cocktail to pacman. These are the basis for what you see here. Additional holes were punched in the steel and custom artwork with plexi by me to complete them.

Note: For those who are saying this is terrible to convert a classic game. The original control panels have been retained (plus Galaxian is in the installed board)
Though when purchased it didn't have a Galaxian board at the time this was created it would be a simple task to turn it back into the original Galaxian it started life
